My good friend and colleague Sean is swinging by this afternoon to look at some of my bookmarks. Sean, on top of being a great co-worker, also coaches minor league hockey, and today is the coach's year-end celebration. Sean wants to give his team's coaches a little something to remember the season. So he's coming over for bookmarks. They're inexpensive ($10-15 depending on wood) and unique. These bookmarks exemplify "necessity is the mother of invention". Those who know me know that I'm an avid reader. But I was lousy with bookmarks. I had lost several very nice bookmarks, including a leather and pewter one that I had received as a gift from a good friend (it only took me two days to lose it). I resorted to using large paper clips. Then I though: "waitaminit... a wood paperclip..." And the rest is history. You'll unfortunately never find these in the site's online store (if I ever get around to posting it) because it would take forever and a day to take all the pictures as I usually have about 50-60 on hand. But if you want one, drop me a line with the colours you're looking for and I'll see what I can do.
